Presentation and objectives
To promote the entrepreneurial spirit, the UBee Lab student incubator opened its doors in 2016. It is aimed at students and young graduates in the Bordeaux region with an entrepreneurial idea or project, across all sectors.
UBee Lab helps student-entrepreneurs bring their projects to maturity and conviction, so that they are in a position to create or take over a business (start-ups with technological or usage innovations, traditional businesses, social enterprises, associations, cooperatives, etc.) and/or integrate the support structures of the regional ecosystem (specialized incubators, incubators, gas pedals, etc.).
UBee Lab’s doors are wide open to all students in the Bordeaux region, whatever their course of study, professional or research, who feel they have an entrepreneurial spirit.
UBee Lab is positioned at the crossroads between an ideas laboratory and a support structure for young entrepreneurs, in order to generate collective emulation, knowledge sharing and skills associations.
UBee Lab is a Université de Bordeaux project supported by the French government under the IdEx Université de Bordeaux future investment program and the PEPITE Entrepreneuriat Campus Aquitaine (ECA) scheme.
It is implemented by the Innovation, Partnerships and Enterprise Department of the University of Bordeaux, in collaboration with the entrepreneurship team at IRGO (Institut de Recherche en Gestion des Organisations).
The incubator is a partner of the regional PEPITE (Pôle Etudiants Pour l’Innovation, le Transfert et l’Entrepreneuriat) ECA (Entrepreneuriat Campus Aquitaine).
